Founder & Editor-In-Chief
Laura Tempest Zakroff is an artist, designer, dancer, writer, event producer, and all-around creative nuisance based in Seattle, WA.  She has been an active part of the Steampunk scene since 2007, and can often be found at many conventions and festivals leading workshops, vending her designs, and performing with her husband and their band The Nathaniel Johnstone Band. She founded this blog in order to bring more attention to the amazing and diverse women she has met in the Steampunk scene. 









Associate Editor

Christiane Truelove is an editor, writer, bellydancer, cook, hand drummer and musician, crafter, gamer, and historical researcher.  
As "Lady Joceline Stewart," she is a member of the Red Fork Empire, a loose cooperative of artists with a strong presence in the steampunk community. In the area of steampunk, she supports and performs at local and regional events as a dancer, musician, and lecturer on disease in the Victorian era. She also participates in the Society of Creative Anachronism, where her research specialty is 12th century Sicily.
